This is our story. We live on Benz St. in Ansonia and our roof began to leak, and we just decided to sell our home – so a limited budget. We considered a re-roof, but decided to do a full roof replacement (wise choice). We got an initial quote from a local roofer who gave us a very high estimate. Then the 2nd person who stopped by was knowledgeable, although we had some reservations about who to select to do our roof. During this process we discovered the previous owner replaced the roof himself (DIY) and honestly did a poor quality job. We needed help from a true professional. My wife checked ADN Roofing and found many positive testimonials. Carlos stopped by and gave us a very fair quote, HALF THE PRICE of the first estimate. ” We waited too long to call for help. Our roof was three layers thick and leaking in for locations. Our house is located one block in from long Island sound and the wind and the rain started doing internal damage to our home. What made it worsts is than a large percentage of our home has shallow pitch roofing. It was very fortunate for us that we selected ADN Roofing to come out and give us an estimate. They visited our home were they inspected the attic and then went up on the roof. The old home had more problems than we realized. It is made of stucco and the chimney was cracked. When we received the invoice we were surprised that it was very competitive to two others that never explained what they were going to replace. ADN stripped the roof down to wood that we had not seen sense we purchased the house back in 1956. New wood arrived in the driveway before the first day of construction. Special materials were laid down on all the shallow pitches. My wife and I are very happy with the clean up after the project was finished. It’s all about the communication and Carlos is the best.
